Professional Background

    I am the Owner of Experience Play and a certified PLAY Project Consultant with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Exceptional Student Education from Lynn University. I was an Elementary School teacher in Palm Beach County for three-and-a-half years before leaving the classroom to become a Behavior Therapist. In 2018 I was introduced to the PLAY Project and instantly fell in love with the intervention.  I firmly believe in child-led learning and developmental appropriate learning. The PLAY Project combines these two values so I became a certified PLAY Project Consultant.  I have seen significant positive progress in implementing the PLAY Project intervention and want to provide these  impactful interventions to more children and families. In addition to my work with children, I also work as an Adventure Therapist and specialize in experiential therapy for adults struggling with addiction, team-building opportunities and one-on-one experiential learning/therapeutic opportunities.

Therapeutic and Educational Philosophy

     I believe that every child is unique and has their own learning style and it is my job as a PLAY Consultant, educator and therapist to provide individualized interventions that meet the needs of each child.

   I use a multi-sensory developmental approach to implementing therapeutic interventions and educational programs for my clients.  It is important that I help children understand their unique learning styles and provide different opportunities to interact with their world in multiple ways. It is my goal to become a valued member of the child's team and advocate for their best interest at all times. I provide ethical and evidence-based interventions that are tailored to meet the needs of each individual child and their family.
